Build Your Own Drip System

Drip irrigation systems are easy to install, simple to design and effectively reduce water waste. Learn how to design, construct and maintain a drip system in this hands-on class. This class can accommodate only 20 registered participants. 

Bee Condo Workshop
Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM (Event Full)

Bug condos, which can be visually stunning, give beneficial pollinators such as native bees a safe place to nest right in your garden. Learn how to design and build your own condo. Be prepared to kneel on the ground, get a little dirty and use power tools. For ages 15 and up.

Practice yoga with instructor Mary Metcalf surrounded by the beautiful Aurora Water-wise Garden at the Aurora Municipal Center. Classes will be held on the activity court at the center of the garden. Be sure to wear loose-fitting clothes and bring water, a yoga mat and a towel to place on the court surface. Classes will be held from 7 to 8 a.m. on the first Wednesday of the month from June through September.

We have extensive experience growing plants suited to Aurora. A water conservation specialist will show you around the Aurora Water-wise Garden and introduce you to our top recommended trees, shrubs, perennials and grasses. This July class will feature our beautiful summer-blooming plants.
